These type of systems can also to be linked by the following methods following an activation:

• Telephone dialler – can be programmed to dial upto 4 persons and deliver a pre recorded message
• Text message – can also be programmed upto 4 mobile phone numbers delivering a set text message
• Digital communicator – linked to a monitoring station
• Redcare – linked by BT to a monitoring system giving better security
• GSM – Linked via the mobile phone networks to a central station
